Long story short is I was out helping my nephew locate some elk for his hunt, this was about the third drainage I called into hoping for a response and this lion starts screaming back at my calls and working it’s way in from 350 yds or so. Very strange encounter to say the least, with the heavy wind i was cow calling threw my tube to help amplify the sound and possibly she mistook the sound as a lion whistle? Who knows..... I ended up with a bonus lion. Old female about 100lbs.
