Awesome tag!! Great unit and low tag numbers. I would definately be holding out for a BIG bull. Tell your buddy to do some research and make a post or two over on the Monster Muleys site. When i drew my UT tag last year, those guys were very helpful. I would guess that the Beaver unit is probably one of the top three units in UT for quality bulls.

I work with a guy who used to live down in that area and has been trying to draw that tag for years. He has some friends that hunted it last year. I will talk to him for you and see if I can get any info or perhaps a contact for you.

What tag did he draw? early rifle, late rifle, archery or muzzle? Should be a hunt hunt. I drew a late tag for the Fishlake unit. pretty close to the beaver unit. I booked a guide for my hunt. A lot of people are saying there is good spring rains and moisture. Should be some good antler growth this year.

good luck and have fun.
