The Man, The Legend, and he ain't no myth
« on: September 28, 2022, 04:41:28 PM »
I was fortunate enough to wrap up my time in the woods hiking with a bow in my hand (I would have had to have seen elk to call it elk hunting) near Bruce's house Thursday.  Usually I boogie home late at night on that last day from that area, but had some other things to do in the South Sound Saturday, so I stayed that direction.  Fortunately when I called Bruce Friday he was home.  I had been wanting some of the Korros and a few of his folding cages.

I am not sure if we did or not, but we may have solved world hunger and how to achieve peace around the world too (I should have kept notes) or we talked hunting out on the Peninsula and trapping for a good while.

Great to meet you in person Bruce and thanks again for all you do for us vs the anti's and State.

And funds are in the snail mail heading your direction.  Cant wait to test those Korros on Mink (and a squirrel or two) and the cages on Cats.

Thanks again,

Eric

It was nice to put a face to the name. Had a nice visit. Not sure about solving the world's problems but we did kill a few elk and deer.

Bruce, I am wondering if we grabbed the wrong cage traps?

I asked for Bobcat traps.

Apparently I got Grinner traps :bash: :bash: :bash:

 :hello:

Though I guess if  I would quit shooting cats at the bait, maybe I would get one in a cage.

Well, kidney stones ended my season.  Second little bundle of joy escaped a bit ago, so I should be on the mend now.

Went 0'for on koros set for mink.  I did not have them in the best locations, I think I missed a coon last week with one.  I have only had them out since mid January.

Cages got me 6 grinners and two cats.  Again, just from mid January.

Love the cages Bruce.  Really easy to use.  I made some covers from corrugated plastic.  They worked great. Really light weight and easy to manage.   I will get some pics and share.
