Desert Rifle October Tag
« on: September 30, 2022, 04:53:14 AM »
My kid drew the early Desert tag for late October.  We have poked around a little this summer a bit between walleye outings and haven't seen much, which is to be expected..  I hunted the unit with a buddy who drew the late tag a few years ago so I'm familiar with the unit.  November hunt is clearly  better hunt from what I have been told.  Anyone hunt the unit in October?  If so any suggestions?  I'm hoping as it gets closer to Halloween the bucks will start getting more active.. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum and a first post. Tell us a little bit about yourself before people just start giving you advice. Then past hunters are more apt to give out their well earned info. My advice is "Boots on the ground"
