First ever bear with my muzzleloader
« on: October 05, 2022, 08:03:06 PM »
I was out hunting for elk this morning and got my first ever bear. Knight Disc Extreme 50, shooting 300 grain Bloodline bullets. Hit it high behind the front shoulder, which was all that wasn’t obscured and it was instantly down and dead. I didn’t weigh it, but seemed to be a couple hundred pounds. One less predator in my hunting area.

Thanks guys, first animal killed with the muzzleloader as well. Those bloodline bullets must dump all their energy into to animal. No exit wound, but instant kill. Lots of miscellaneous damage to organs and spine. Flat hammered

It was only like 75-80 yards 300 grain bloodline 120 gr triple 7 and a 1075 cap
