GMU 660
« on: October 07, 2022, 08:08:08 AM »
Did anyone hunt 660 for the ML season? We started scouting it last Wednesday and hit it pretty hard for the week. Seemed like the elk were pretty much non existent this year. Went to 672 yesterday and the day before. Saw 5 on Wednesday and nothing yesterday. Don't know if it's the weather or what the deal is. I'm guessing way down in the cool timber. Hunted the timber a couple times but pretty hard to make a quiet hunt anywhere. Hoping for better weather during the late hunt. Can't remember hearing any shots either. Hope somebody had better luck than us.

Yes hunted 4 days this week. Didnt hear any bugles or see any bulls. Only saw a group of cows once. Too many frickin people... too hot.. was a chitty early season. And the modern deer opener is still looking chitty at 75°.
