Heading to the 342 to hunt the last two days of my cow tag Saturday and Sunday. Any regular season muzzleloaders that just finished up there have any thoughts on where they are hanging this year?

It was hot, but north slopes stayed cool for a long time during the day.  Opening day when I shot my spike they bugled all day.  Even though they were in their beds some of it.  Get on the south slopes it was hot! This was a neighboring unit

I don't remember a time, when we have not had a frost by October 1.  :twocents:

Get up as high as you can hunt around water! Got my cow coming down to a creek bottom in the evening.
Shut up and Hunt!
