Care for a deer mount
« on: May 29, 2009, 11:38:20 PM »
I have my first mount hanging and we don't really have air conditioning. I have a little unit that cools down the house a little but with 4 kids plus their freinds leaving the doors open it heats back up quick. The mount is also in the vault so I would assume it is warmer up there. Do I have to do anything for the excessive heat?

Excessice heat is really not all that good for mounts.  A lot of the times it can cause the hide to continue to shrink more and faster than it normally would.
