Leadore, Idaho
« on: October 12, 2022, 11:05:58 AM »
35 tires slashed in the town of Leadore, Idaho. All non residents. If you’re going that way, be careful and be safe. A buddy and their party were victims along with a bunch of other people. Law enforcement have been notified but we know how that goes.

Maybe the local tire shop has had a down year and trying to make it up with a bang up fourth quarter? I am sure all the business owners in town love that one of their local citizens  is actively trying to run all their customers off. Hopefully they catch the POS that did this and make an example of them

Leadore has a bar, a store/gas pump, RV parking, a small hotel, and some folks that wish they had a ticket out.
The tire store is 45 minutes away and owned by a good dude.

Yeah I was just joking. Don’t really think anyone would do that to spur business.  I’m sure it was some local who had some out-of-state guy hunting in his honey hole and decided to take it out on anybody who didn’t live there

Clearly this was not in the "town proper" of Leadore.  Any idea which of the canyon areas this occurred?

I didn’t ask for much details as they are still pretty heated about the situation. All he mentioned was unit 29 in town of Leadore. They have been hunting mule deer here the past few years with no problems. I’ll post any updates if there is any.

I found folks to be friendly in the part of woods; even showed me a couple good bucky areas.

That’s too bad.

I'd suggest Trump bumper stickers on out of state rigs that go to idaho.. It might help :dunno: Slashing tires is taking it a little far

Perhaps rent a truck with street tires?

I've had no issues at any western washington gates or trailheads and I've been to lots of them. My truck has been broken into once in E-WA and my entire truck and drift boat trailer were stolen while I was in the boat in E-WA.  I never saw the truck again.
