Tri Cities Duck Numbers

Anyone have an idea of how the duck population in the tri cities is doing? My buddy and I are hunting McNary on opening weekend.

If you have a good pick you might do ok. Bring your sunscreen and speedo, no waders required with temperatures in mid 70’s.

The opener at McNary has been pretty good for most blinds. Good luck, post up pictures.

Yeah, we had blind 17 for the opener last year and it was a pretty good hunt. We didn't limit out, but we got pretty close.

Thanks for the mosquito tip.

I'm glad I the Thermacell this morning at Toppenish. Got eaten alive after I shut it off to pack up.

Duck reports have been promising. We have taken a few. Seems to be a steady steam of snows flying this week. We are going out in the storm Friday evening and Saturday, hope we see a few birds.
I felt like a one legged cat trying to bury a terd on a frozen pond!

I have been seeing waves of birds all week flying over NW Washington.  The bays are starting to load up with migrators.  Lots of snows, cacklers, lessers, sea ducks and puddle ducks in the area.

Lots of swans just started to show up today around Conway/Fir Island. Hadn't seen any around and then- BAM- at least a couple hundred.
