If you have the cash, and it's not set aside for some other hunting purpose, then I would buy it.  Would be a pretty good item to use in a trade at a gun show in the future as well.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.

i'm with goldtip. buy it, you can always use it as a trade offering if you see no need for it...or you can unload one of your less desirable .22's.

One can never have too many rimfire rifles! When it's time to go shoot for practice and your buddy's got his kid along or you need to introduce a new shooter, I always start with a rimfire rifle. Your kid wants to bring a friend...

Is this rifle better than any rifle you have in the safe? Is it time to upgrade and pass your old one along?

If you bring the subject up here, you're thinking about it. If your buddy needs the money for something else, you need to help him out. That's what friends do.

Buy it!

Go for it.  They are a really nice gun.
There's a reason they call it hunting, not killing.

Save your money and buy a Mosin-Nagant. Leave it "as issued" and kill your biggest buck ever. I did.

Not even a question buy the gun.  Any time you have the cash you should buy a gun.  Never have too many.
