Some people can be real *censored*s.  The person who stole your stand is not a true hunter or fellow hunter in the scense of hunting sportmanship.  Just a piece of crap scraped off of one of our boots.  Believe me, most of us would just as soon slap the piss out of em than give them the time of day.  Seems more and more we have to take special precautions with leaving our gear anywhere or it will disappear.  Didn't used to be like that back in the 60's and 70's.  There was a mutual respect for each other.  Sorry to hear you got heisted.  The person who did it is just not right!

What makes people do things like this?!?

because crackhead methhead tweeker scumbags can sell them, or whatever else you have worked hard to earn and they can steal, and make money to buy drugs.
don't even get me started.

I just got my 8 ft. Aqua Toy-paddle boat stolen three days ago.We had some good memories in that little boat.It was my son's first boat ride and he was just starting to reach the peddles.
My five year old son said maybe somebody borrowed it and will bring it back tomarrow, and I said I hope you are right. He couldn't understand why someone would steal.I took this as a lesson for him about the dark-side of peaple.
I've started looking for it on Craigslist,no luck yet...

I just wish these people would stop and think what they are doing, there will be a time in their life where they will need help when they are in the woods and I hope they get some payback. Some way some how! I just get so frustrated!
I also had somebody 3 yrs ago sticking nails under my tires and when I would leave in the evening the nails would go in my tires and all the way to my rim and then bend. It would take a few days before I would notice a leak. It took me two times to figure out what was going  on. He did it twice, the second time I obviously figured out what was going on. I have never been back to that area.
You never know who you are dealing with. Am I dealing with a tree hugger, pot grower, mad hunter that doesn't want me in that area or a crazy land owner that just doesn't want me in that piece of Boise land. How do I deal with it? Camo up and catch the guy, get pictures of who it is? That would just cause an ongoing feud. Beat the snot out of him, no same outcome. Could be a pot grower and could really cause a war to were somebody may really get hurt, that won't work. Tree hugger? Who knows.
So, I just quit hunting that area, haven't been up there in 3 yrs. It really sucks, because I harvested two nice bucks there the two previous years.
Anyway, hopefully my luck will change since I have vented a lot!!!!!!

I know they will ALL get their Karma and will eventually be out of business, but the sad part is, every new generation seems to have twice as many thieves as the previous one.

The reality is our society is becoming more and more like this.  It is all about ME for the extreme majority.  The reality is as soon as you attempt to handle it yourself you are in trouble with the law.  Unfortunate reality and I can assure you based on people that I know who are out in the woods they could care less about you, your stuff, or even your hunt.  Yes criminals do hunt and fish.

People who steal  >:( >:( >:( >:( :bash: :bash: :bash:!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have all these evil thoughts of what to do to them short of death, but with each one I know I will be the bad guy and they will be the "poor child" that society did not understand. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

That sucks! I have tried to prevent people from stealing my treestands as much as possible... Thats why I use heavy duty cable and padlocks from the stand all the way down the ladders! I mean if they want it that bad they will figure out a way, but atleast it keeps the ones just walking by unable to steal it!

I think part of the problem is the justice system just don't do enough to the ones that are caught to deter the ones that don't. Property crimes are looked at as an inconvenience more then a crime. I say take the law into your own hands cause the court isn't gonna do anything about it !!
The essense of freedom is the proper limitation of government !!!

I just got my office broken into this weekend.  Nice Christmas surprise.  The idiots stole my small safe...and when they finally get it open they are going to be pissed to find out it has .79 cents in it.  lol  Actually, I was thinking if they catch the meth addict, I could represent him to try and recoup some money back for the broken window etc...

I hate thieves!! My truck was stolen about 6 months ago, I got it back about 30 days later with a couple scratches, a cracked windshield and both bumpers dented up. But besides that it runs and drives great!
