The Argiope spider you have pics of on your site remind me of one in EWa I nearly walked into. It was the largest spider I have ever seen in Washington and I am sure I would have been doing a 'Ninja Dance' to get it off of me had I not seen the web and avoided it.

I really really really enjoy shooting those !
same here, the best hunting for me. Always waiting till end of deer season to get out, love calling them, love shooting them. Expensive tho.

I need to find a new squeeker.   The one I had dried out and turned petrified, kind a like its user but.....   

My wife got me a new foxpro outfit for Christmas so looking forward dabbling with it as well.  After hand calling for so many years it sounds a bit artificial, but many seem to get them to work well.

Great shot!  Love the backlit hair.  When people ask if high quality frames and lenses are worth it, I point to these types of photos.
