Chinook pass closes every winter. This year it just happened a couple weeks sooner than it normally does.

In all my years of crossing the Cascades, I have found that those that use Chinook,Cayuse, North Cascades. Hell even White and Stevens passes are usually better equipped both physically and mentally to handle such a trip. When I 90 closes the idiots show up elsewhere and end up crossing Blewett to get back on their way. Here's your result
