Photo of a lifetime, man I hope I can get one like that of my dog.
I think I’d cry every time I saw it.

Instant lump in my throat. Definitely brings back a lot of memories of past puppies.

Yup. Choked up.  What a shot.

It is a great photo.  The retriever still has the heart, but the body just can't.  Hardest part about having a great dog, it goes by quickly.

Poor old pup.  He is better suited for a bed by a fireplace.

Identical twin to my old girl, she still won't miss a day on the river chasing fish. I will carry her to the truck as long as she is happy

That's a great shot. Reminds me of packing my old dog back when he just had to go and didn't have it in him to make it back.  :'(

Last pup hunted through his 15th year. Pup now is hitting 8yo. Gets stoved up bit, but has the drive to hunt til his last day. I'm gonna make sure we pursue something when that day comes.

I used this stuff for my old Chesapeake. This stuff is much better than such of the arthritis medicine. I would give him one drop in the morning and the evening. Old Chief got to hunt till he was 12.5 years old and I hunted him hard in the cold for the ist 8 years of his life. It helped him overcome an injury at 9.  You can only find this at the Weed shop, and I tried. 4 different brands and this stuff worked. I have shared this with all my hunting buddies with older dogs. It's pretty reasonable and only cost $40 for a dropper that lasted about a month.

Do your hunting buddy a favor and give this stuff a try.

Unreal pic.

Wow....

What a pic.  Choking me up. Sure brings back memories of the hunting dogs I've had.  Their drive and tenacity is something to behold.

Ugh... that photo has it all.

I had to pack my old hound out from a tree this summer and go straight to the vet.  It was heart rending to watch a dog that had treed >500 lions in her life lose interest in the tree and hand over the reins to the younger dogs.  She knew she was dying before we did.
