Seems strange, we know more people than ever applied so it's tough to argue the guys on the fence didn't apply and thus a higher percentage of people that applied are serious about hunting the tag.

The state is going to sell as many as they can, I can't think of a reason they would intentionally drag their feet.

I called On Friday and they said they were still in the 180s or so? I’m blown away by that, givin the flow of how far they were last year at this time, unbelievable.

I keep hoping now that their general season is open they will make the outfitters return their unbooked  tags. If that were the case we may see one more big drop in Alternate numbers. If not you might be sitting at number 10 right now and you’re probably not going at the rate it’s been dropping the last month. If they don’t release the unused outfitter tags I sure hope they treat them like a corporate budget. If they don’t use them this year they don’t get them next year

Soon as these outfitters turn in the unused tags that list will start flyin, problem is they slackin and prob won’t be till next week when it’s too late for most non res to get out there, sad. Holdin those tags hostage almost.

I sure hope you heard that from a credible source. I’m going to have my bags packed and let the family know now I’m probably missing Thanksgiving. Probably getting my hopes up for nothing but at least it sounds like there could be a chance

I heard that from the FWP, anybody know where they are on the list as of recently? Heard around 200 a little over a week ago?
