2273 Toutle Cow Dec. 1-15 Antlerless
« on: November 05, 2022, 09:44:37 PM »
I'm looking to ask you to post your secret spot for all to see... Naw. that's bs, but I will ask you to send a message to get a point of reference or insight. I've done the same for others and just asking for the same courtesy or fellowship.

I do have this tag and am looking for some pointers. as it looks now I may only have the 3rd and 4th to hunt. This was a back up choice for a tag if I didn't get a bull this year. well... I didn't. So,  I am asking for a lil point in the right direction. Thanks in advance

Guessing you dont have a permit for logging company land, without that less area open. Think there is some decent areas up rock creek from the south.
In God we trust, all others bring cash.

Do not say, Why were the old days better than these? For it is not wise to ask such questions.

Looking at maps a fair area of state land on north side I think, but I am not familiar with that side.
Last time I hunting was before permits, south side has some access but less land.

Good luck.

I don’t think you’d have a problem finding a cow up in that north state land. But judging by the early snow event we had this weekend, you might not be able to get up there past the Weyerhaeuser in another month.

A lot of the lower elevation land on the approach in there is walk in only- those permits are $100 and still available. I would snag one.

The state land on the south side could be another option and there are elk in there.
