I know this is an older post but I wanted to bring attention to the newest addition of Eastmans Hunting Journal and the cover shot. It was shot by Tony Bynum and is one of the most amazing ram shots I've ever seen. Tony and I shot this ram back in November. It's the same ram in a couple of the shots I posted on this thread. Of course Tony's shot of this ram turned out spectacular.
If you would like to see other shots from Tony I know he is starting a Smugmug site where you may be able to purchase this shot. I am thinking of getting him to send me a 11x17 or something and framing it for my office. I haven't asked him if he is able to sell this shot because of the cover but he has many spectacular shots you can see at these websites. Congrats Tony!

Those with subscriptions have been getting it in the last couple days. I have yet to find it in the stores but I think it's coming out this week... Jump on it before they all sell out.

He is a worldclass photographer. Good stuff Pope. I looked for that fairchase mag yesterday, but couldn't find either copy. I'm afraid my wife has been cleaning again.........I'll keep looking....I have a couple more piles.

A couple of the bucks at least one in particular look very familiar to me. You must get to go with him while he shoots. That would be fun.

I think Tony has offered to take people out shooting with him on MM before. He's a real down to earth guy and you can learn a lot from him by just shooting next to him. If you ever get over to the Glacier Park area with a camera I would suggest shooting him a message. I can say that I've known or met quite a few outdoor photographers over the years. Most of them work alone for a reason...they aren't very personable. Some can be downright rude and most have a large ego. Tony is one of the few exceptions to that rule.
