Has anyone had any experience hunting deer here? I’ve seen mixed reports of it being no modern rifle as well as being overrun by pheasant hunters. Was thinking of checking it out for the late season. Any advice or knowledge would be appreciated.

It’s open during the late modern season but there’s no centerfire rifles allowed on that side of 203. I think you can use shotguns, muzzleloaders or archery gear but you’ll want to verify that with the law.
There are lots of duck hunters and lots of pheasant hunters.

Yea waste of time. Bout 10 rigs a day running around with dogs chasing pheasants, than the occasional duck hunter when pheasants end. Bird watchers, hikers etc. Prolly a coyote or 2 in there. Wdfw scoffed at the idea when I asked them
