Make up to $2,000.00 shooting wolves
« on: November 20, 2022, 06:27:37 PM »

Hi Folks,   :hello:
If you live in Idaho or Hunt over there, join the F4WM (Foundation for Wildlife Management) and hunt wolves.
They are paying up to $2,000.00 for a shot or trapped wolves.  :yike: A dead one that is and the "Best Part" is you get to keep the hide.
That's right you get to keep the hide.  Sell it and make more or tan it for a wall hanger.
But you have to be a member to collect the money.
For more detains check out their website.

This ad that you see is in the last issue of the Idaho Trapper magazine

Indeed.

I think you have to be a member prior to killing them? Or anyone would sign up after they luck out and get one or some and collect some cash! lol

I don’t think the majority of people realize how hard it is to actually get a shot opportunity and let alone trap them. There’s very few trappers over here who actually fill a lot of tags every year. Even less people who consistently shoot them. 100’s of hours of effort from those type of folks who are successful.

I wish I had been a member last week I’d be rich. I picked up a brochure the other day at a sporting goods store I believe it was $45 a year for membership and you have to be a member for 30 days before you can be eligible. I’m sure they can verify the date of your kill through the game department since they have to be sealed.

I’m sure it’s different now that hunting and trapping for them is basically wide open, but I remember quite a while back idaho fish and game sent some trapper into the Frank to try and thin em out a little bit. If I remember the story right they were expecting him to maybe get 3 or 4. I believe he called them on a satellite phone after just a few days in there and he already had something like 10 wolves killed and they said okay that’s enough for now haha. I wanna say the dude was from Riggins area, he must’ve been on his game.
