I went to Cabelas to get a spotting pick up a spotting scope. I was about to bite the bullet and get the Leupold Gold ring 12-40x, but backed out at the last minute and grabbed the Excursion. I figured that Bushnell was less than half the price and 75% of the quality of the Leupold, so I would certainly do for now.
The surprise came when they rang it up at the register and it came up $119!!! The checker didn't really know why, but she said that there must have been some in store rebate. Either way, I just about went back and bought a few more. For $120, this is hands down the best bargain for any optic out there.
If anyone is looking for a spotting scope, you may want to checkout Cabelas in the next day or two.
