i think you should put on a nice full containment drop away like the trophy taker, and be done with it, no worries about ripped or lost fletch and no speed loss and no trimming whiskers :dunno:. easy to set up and time, like 5 minutes. and i have found them to shoot much better!!

Here are the facts on the black portion at the bottom. The black portion is actually a stiffer bristle that supports the arrow better while it rests directly on that portion. The Cock vein should be straight up and no trimming is required to increase speed.

Yea there should be no trimming needed provided you did get the right sized WB for your arrows. They make a couple different sizes.

I always prefer a trimmed biscuit  :drool:............As far as the bow rest goes; I wouldn't mess with it. I have never had any problems with mine...
