This is just like Paul Harvey... "And now for the story"

I am getting excited as I have wondered about this bull for some time.

Isn't that the one that people were talking about last fall.. A lady who works at Miller's One Stop had a picture of it?

I think it was shot up near Colville if I remember right.

Nice bull.

Well here is the story. I can tell you that I lived close to colville and I hunt local. I had been hunting all season but it was so dry we could not make a stalk on anything and we could not get to the water holes where they bedded down all day,so we kept after it and finally on the last day of season we woke up to rain,we made it to a clearcut in the dark and listening below was a bull elk and he was mad,as the sun came up we started scoping out the clearing and the bull I got was a half mile away and coming down the hill to fight he only buggled a couple times but he new where he was going,we made are way around the hill hoping to get in front of him before he got to the bottom and into the jungle,as we were setting up to buggle him in he steped out at about 100 yards and I freaked out and pulled the bow back only to be smacked by my brother,so I set my bow back down and watched,as you can see it was thick, at 30 yards we seen him again and i was not letting him get closer the arrow went through the lungs out the back of the shoulder,we had no time to waste because of the rain so we gave him about 10 minutes and went to look for blood and found it he went about 90 - 100 yards and died it took 6 people and 4 hours to the truck, so now you know why they call me lucky

Nice to know the story behind the pic.  THanks.  I know it gets thick in there.  We had a couple of guys from our camp leave early to go up there and hunt.  After 3 days of fighting brush they gave up and came back to our camp.
