looks like a great bear to me! Comgradulations! Can I barrow your hunting budy??? :hello:
I cut my finger once while caping out the head of a bear. I cleaned it up with soap and water but about 3 days latter got blood poisning and had to go to the DR :yike: :yike: Hard to convince the Dr. what I was doing :chuckle: :chuckle:

Had the same thing. The Dr. called it cellulitis. It spread from the cut to 3 fingers and half my hand before I realized it wasn't going away. I had to get a series of shots over 3 days. He told me that only in recent times would shots help. In the past you had to go to the hospital for a week to flush your system. :yike:

Nice work JackJr. Looks like a dandy to me, any bear is a good bear.

Sorry to hear about your finger. I've heard of some excuses to gettin' out of gutting/packing animals, but slicing a finger is a little extreme!

Glad to hear you got a good hunting partner for packing.....may need him come November!

Good work to both of you.

He does have a wide head. Good looking boar man. Congrats!

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Well it sounds like when I get mine I'm going to have to do something more drastic than a little nick on the finger to get some help packing. HA! I can hardly wait to get off call and home from Colorado so we can get back down there and finish the second half of our hunt. Nice shooting jack. I've never seen a bear drop so fast.
