Holy crap!
I would probably freeze up if I came across a buck like that  :yike:

And I’m pretty sure they have auction tags and governor tags and all that stuff there.

A totally amazing buck, he was seen last year on the winter range as well but avoided getting shot this year, hopefully next year as well although I bet there are going to be alot of guys trying to find him in the wyoming high country.

It would be really cool to know how far he is migrating! I think Popeye traveled over 70 miles from summer range to winter range

Funny you mention that, I just came across a whole set of Wild America at an antique store in Idaho and bought them. Marty Stouffer was pretty anti hunting but his show was amazing to watch growing up. Eastman's would have to be the top of the list for deer and old hunting videos though! I couldn't believe those deer existed when I first saw Popeye and Goliath on video!

Except after the fact it came out that a lot of Marty Stouffer’s stuff was shot in zoos and preserves

They have super tags and governor tags but the holders of super tags and governor tags in Wyoming are limited to open seasons.
