Gel Pellet Guns - Whose gotem/gifting em?
« on: December 23, 2022, 02:51:19 PM »
Hottest kid gift going.  Giving a couple as gifts -
Full auto for $50 ! Pellets are amazing - pinhead size, couple tablespoons of them in water expand to two quarts of pea sized water pellets.

Anyone else have or giving these?  My stepmom uses to keep rabbits out of yard. Probably last years news Im always late to the party!

Pretty cool. I didn’t know they existed until your post. I guess I am out of the loop.

My son loves his orbee guns. they tend to fail after a month or so so think of them as expendable fun. Moisture and cheap Chinese electronics are sure to fail eventually.

Crazy how 2 tablespoons of #2 size pellets turn onto a half gallon of perfectly round salmon egg looking gel pellets.

My thought too  :chuckle:

Maybe reconstitute them in smelly fish water  :dunno:

Pickle juice, shrimp water, garlic, anise?   Hmmm

Sad news about the dog. Sorry.  IIRC some countries have outlawed them because of their danger to animals and kids ingesting the pellets. Be safe out there with Chinesium products.

From what I have found on a 'non comprehensive search' is the beads themselves are supposedly non toxic. The swelling of the non expanded beads can be an issue if eaten. Takes a lot for that to happen. I guess.
