There are so many bears in there its not even funny. To bad you didn't get a tag RR. It would of been a pretty easy hunt for your first bear.
yeah calling bears to within 10 to 30 feet is a waste of time,spotting one a few hundred yrds out and shooting it is much more rewarding,you don't have to worry about the Adrenalin rushing through out your body.or the actual skill and time put in for such an effort being as rewarding as as poking one way out there..besides I like wasting my time.maybe someday I can be a legend in my own mind

I am sure I know 100 times more about hunting bears in Hancock then you do. I can't believe you even posted on this thread. When was the last time you hunted Hancock? The spring hunt is a gimme if you want to kill a bear. You spend a couple of evenings in there in a decent spot and you will see a bear or four.
