I have an issue with just how much $ to drop into this platform as once you open up the frame to put in some of the upgrades it becomes crystal clear that the plastics will eventually be too worn for reliable service.  That two piece shell is a cheap flimsy not forever platform.

 :yeah:

I had the same impression, it's a throw away gun

I think my next upgrade will be the barrel, I want it to be more accurate fist

I thought about looking for a threaded barrel for mine as it would be nice to use it suppressed.  Will be interested to see what you land on for a barrel.

It say not to use a suppressor, so ymmv

That is interesting...  I wonder why?  Perhaps cycling issues to do the weight?

not sure where I read it, but it had to do with the gas and the way the action cycles

there's a youtuber doing it, so that why I put "ymmv"

I think they are "temporarily" much more reliable and better with the upgraded parts, but that wont stop the degrading of the plastics, may actually contribute to faster degradation, even.  Im thinking the whole plastic on plastic parts of the factory gun is designed around an eventual expiration date where the thing gets hucked in the can.

with the amount of $ you have into it (and I'm not far behind you, not counting the optic) you could have gotten a really nice .22lr pistol

I think I won't recommend this gun for grouse plinking, or much of anything else really

I'm pretty happy with my "grouse popper" now, it's slayed some birds and not a single miss, no lost birds, and no destroyed breasts.  I'm shooting them high on the back, drt!

Also it's cycling flawlessly once I got grease with PTFE in it, lubed it up good, lubed the magazine too, anyplace where plastic slides on plastic or a little bit of metal which ain't much with this gun.

The green optic sight is super nice, but you have to constantly adjust the brightness depending on how much light there is

Says right on their site to not suppress, but someone's got to do it. curious if anyone has yet.
