Are those sheds from this year? Seems early for the elk to be dropping.

Gorgeous matching set!! Thanks for sharing

:yeah:
Most of the deer around me are still packing and the elk all are. Really early for elk but great find.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

Thanks. They are last years sheds in good shape. The majority of the bulls around here seem to drop the last week of march/first week of April

Scoring sheds in class today working on measurement skills…

Looks like some thumpers ! Cool activity...what was some final scores ?

I put out several whitetail sheds that break into the 80s and a couple mule deer that break 100”.

I had the third in the world for a decade or two at 93 and change, so that would be interesting.  I guess that was typical so you could be talking NT.

Definitely NT. My biggest mule deer typical is 86” and change. Biggest non typical would be in the 230” range if both sides matched equal in size with a 27” spread.
If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.

This was my superbowl 🤙🏼 Nothing like bringing my two best shed dogs and littles out into the woods shed hunting.
If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.

Some blackie sheds from the previous year. I saw a full shed buck right next to my parking spot but no freshies anywhere.
Fish hard, hunt harder!
