Huge Kansas dead head?
« on: January 08, 2023, 01:44:19 PM »
Supposedly some woman in Wichita Kansas was fishing and found this giant dead head in the water. Anyone else see it?

With a rack like that, it could probably drown just from trying to get a drink.

Otherworldly.  Way too much calcium in the water there, apparently...  :o

Looks pretty dry for having been fished off the bottom of a lake  :dunno:
I beg to dream and differ from the hollow lies

In November U.S. manufacturing contracted for the the ninth consecutive month. Layoffs across the economy are higher than anytime since the pandemic in 2020 and I just read that the Midwest farmers will be receiving a 12B bailout due to 50 year trade relationships being destroyed. I have to admit that I was a sceptic and didn't believe in the effectiveness in tariffs but I'm a believer now.

Anyone say it was fished from the bottom, they said found.

Two thoughts, I wonder if it should be dated?  Could it have been preserved somehow and it's really old?  Or, maybe it came from a high fenced herd and somehow ended up in the river?

My immediate thoughts was high fence. Maybe they were fishing a pond in a high fence area :chuckle: who knows🤷🏻‍♂️

Poached from high fence area somewhere else then thrown in water and "found" a year or two later for attention.  :dunno:

I bet that was a high fence deer that got poached and someone ditched the evidence in the water.

Why poach a high fence deer if you're not planning to keep the antlers?

I'm choosing to believe it's on the up and up until shown otherwise. Cool deer, even cooler find. I swear Ive found the coolest stuff on the ground wandering ricer banks and stream beds.

If you owned a high fence ranch, wouldn’t you know if this buck was on your land?…I would! :twocents:

Prob why it's in the creek, maybe it was poached and the azz hats realized they could never hide it?  :dunno:
