Liberty safe keypad
« on: January 19, 2023, 03:35:50 PM »
Any suggestions on getting my safe to open.  Slight sound when the code is entered.  Tried a few new batteries all with ‘27 expiration.  Wrote to liberty but from what I hear it takes a while for them to respond.

same thing happened to me with a liberty safe. The solenoid went bad and they were great. Sent me a new one. Lotta good it did seeing it had to be open to fix it.  Paid like 800 for the safe and it was 600 for a locksmith to come out and open it. I ended up taking a grinder to the sides and top and got into it that way. Took 30 minutes. Fixed the solenoid. welded back up. It did the same thing two years later. Did the same thing. Except the safe went to the dump. Never buying a liberty sage again

Mine went bad on my liberty and wouldn’t lock. Called them and They sent me a new manual  lock and set me up with a locksmith to install, it had been a few years and I had to pay $100 bucks   This was probably 10 years ago so maybe their customer service has gotten worse.  Good buddy had his also go haywire and they hired a locksmith to get his open and put a Manual dial.   Same timeframe.     Not sure where you are located but I’d contact northwest safe in enumclaw.  Those guys are top notch

I would never get a electronic lock again
