So, they'd like to limit opportunity because of workload. Why not just end hunting like we're doing here in WA. Then you won't have to worry about being over-worked.

Why a shortage of Wardens??

Like all government agency's, they are "Top" heavy and like biologist over Regulation enforcer's!

ALL the "warden's" I've come in contact with over many years, ALL agreed, "Olympia" was their biggest "Problem"!  The last couple, added "biologist" as their second!
The only good tree, is a stump!

Same sentiments rattled around in my head, when I read this. It was not a safety issue, a worry about poaching or any other objection to this, other than being over worked. I would like to see the data that proves, that wildlife crimes spike. When hunting with thermals or IR is permitted. If wildlife crimes don't spike, then why the concern with over working your staff? :twocents:
