Who would not want to hunt 1 of these if you had a tag?

David tagged a nice ram that year.

maybe he couldn't afford all the hunts, and as much as we all want a sheep tag, what if you couldn't afford to have a mount done so it would only add to the angst of what to do if you killed one...as much as we all want to know more, obviously the poster doesn't want to share and that is his right.

I personally don't care if he shares his hunt or not, but he did start this topic and spent the money on at least one ticket to hunt these animals. If one worked the entire 3.5 and 4 months of these seasons then why would they even buy a ticket? He saw no shortage of  mtn lion sign, so that tells me he obviously had some time to hunt. Also let's say he didn't have the funds to mount a sheep. What's wrong with an awesome self done euro mount for free and a bunch of the best meat on the planet in your freezer?

Ghosted again.  If he didn't hunt the other species, I'd say that was the most wasted draw ever..... and worst thread of 2022.

I'm going to guess he filled the sheep tag. That could have been done in a matter of an hour or less with the dates of that tag. :twocents:

I’ve heard the sheep tag was filled. I don’t have any details but I’ve heard he killed a ram.

Well good to hear that, after starting his thread, a story would be nice. But, to each their own.

If the snow isn't good for Entiat then stay in the desert but once the weather report looks like Entiat is going to be good then go to Entiat.  Go to Entiat a day or 2 b4 Entiat starts to look good. If ur hunting with a MF amd have 4 or 5 good sitting spots to hunt and u can hit a paper plate 8 out of 10 times at 600 yards and have decent glass then u have the luxury of waiting for the 200" but if that's not u take the 1st one over 150"  a 150" is a very nice buck for wa state

Well...it is titled: "Working man raffle tag winner"...so, maybe he was working the whole time? or maybe he couldn't afford all the hunts, and as much as we all want a sheep tag, what if you couldn't afford to have a mount done so it would only add to the angst of what to do if you killed one...as much as we all want to know more, obviously the poster doesn't want to share and that is his right.

On to bigger and better things! Anyone else excited for 2023 yet? I already got hunts planned for WA & ID, and putting in for MT...

European mounts are pretty cheap one might argue free.
