Damn, that sucks!  I've been putting off that surgery for a while now because of archery.  I was a pitcher and quarterback from about the time I could walk all through college, and I've drawn a bow hundreds of thousands of times with the same shoulder.  The doctor wasn't all that happy to know that I was not having surgery for something as "stupid" as a world championship 3D shoot in August and hunting season in September.

another possibility is to look into getting your tags changed out to modern tags if you didnt apply for special permits at least you would still be able to hunt this year and you could always go back to packin the stick and string next year

I had a labrum repair and bone spurs removed Jan 23rd. My left shoulder(bow arm). I can draw my 70 lb. bow great now(4 months). Different than rotator cuff, but if it were my right arm I think that I would barely be able to draw my bow at all. You may be able to get healed up enough with a good physical therapist.
