.300 Win Mag - Load Data
« on: March 22, 2023, 04:59:31 PM »
Trying to find a good powder combination for 150gr & 180gr .300 Win Mag loads.  Does anyone have a good load data they would be willing to share?  I have all the RCBS reloading equipment.  I just haven't reloaded for the .300 Win Mag.  I did pick up two containers of H1000 today.  I saw some use H4350 for the 150gr, but wanted to confirm.  I have two identical .300 Win Mag.  I am going to site one in for 150gr and the other for 180gr.

I really like the data that Speer has online, they have data for lots of different powders, and many of the newer ones. Try this link:

I’ve used IMR-4350 in a 300 WM with very good accuracy with a 180 Gr. Accubond.  I don’t typically chase velocity as much as accuracy myself.  Seating depth and other factors always play a part.

Good Luck!

I run 180 hammers, 73.2 rl23, 215s and get 3150fps.

I tried h1000 and switched Ramshot magnum.
Glad I did.
