Trying not to quiver...

So I'm getting back into archery after a very long "off season" and I'm trying to come up with an alternative to hanging a quiver on my bow.

Growing up we always had our quiver on the bow, constantly fussing with it to keep it quiet. I've been shooting constantly for the past few months and just this past weekend put a full quiver on my bow for the 1st time.
Holy cow, the racket!! After two arrows I was convinced there has to be a better way and promptly removed the quiver.

Anyone out there have a favorite arrow management system that does not involve bow attachment? Quiver backpack? Other?

Quiet how? what kind? Ive had cheap ones that i added foam to for the broadheads and some times used some moleskin to dampen any contact. Did it just rattle because it wasnt tight enough?

I'm interested too, I just don't like the idea of having 15 razor blades strapped to my body if I fall or something.  It has to be ultra secure.

My current set up is an old Kwikee Kwiver. I can shake the snot out of my bow with a full quiver attached and not hear anything... Once I start shooting arrows... That's when it's a notable difference. I've tried the mole skin and it seems tight, again, no rattling until I shoot...

What kind of quiver you guys use?

Tightspot has not been a problem for me. I get the foam insert and as long as you're adjusted right, it's not very noticeable. They came out with a new hood and all the old models are heavily discounted and worth checking out right now. Quick detach as well. If you really wanted to you could attach to a pack or get a hip quiver, not like you need to rapid fire arrows at an animal!

You might look into the total peep system

  Hip quiver not tied to my leg, I would slide it behind me when going through the thick stuff or belly crawling. Maybe check out 3rivers archery.

I’ve never had a quiver on my bow since I started archery hunting. I’m about 40 big game animals in. Added weight and wind catching, junk hanging up my bow going through cover has never appealed to me. I run tarantula hip quivers when hunting with modern bows.

  Funny story  about the only problem i ever had with a hip quiver. Late season in skagit county  back in the nineties 3pt walk up about 30 yrds away nock and arrow, draw back and notice a lump of foam froze stuck to my broadhead. undraw pull the foam off as best as i can and sent that arrow into a tree behind the buck. repeat two more times and the buck walks off laughing while i head out for some first aid as i am bleeding. I didn't laugh at myself than but it makes me grin now. Buck fever took me over really bad that time. A little petroleum jelly on my broadheads after that and never happined again.

Just buy a quality quiver- have Tight Spot on all my bows and are 100% silent

Look at these while you’re shopping. Rock solid and no shake, rattle, or boom.  I’ve had one of these in my last two bows.
