It's so great to see all the fun being had, and a bagged bird or two just being the icing on the cake. Thanks for sharing the pictures!

Thanks, turkey season is so much fun, I just love hearing the birds gobble on the roost in the early am.

Bearpaw officially launched our newly available Montana Turkey Hunts last week. Our first hunter is Wallace Tutt from Alabama, he on his quest for the 49 State Slam. He called wanting to hunt Washington but we were full for the opener and I suggested trying our Montana hunt, which he did with guide Derek.

Wallace was amazed at how many turkeys he saw and this morning he closed another chapter in his 49 state quest with two nice Montana toms! Congrats Wallace!

It's becoming a very popular goal for turkey hunters across the country, probably about 25% of our hunters are pursuing the 49 State Slam.

Mike and John both nailed their 2nd birds with Daniel yesterday evening! 100% shooting so far, and second tags getting filled too. These guys all hunt with us every year, they are a blast, a fantastic time is had by all.

This morning Mike and Less started hunting, they come every year too. Daniel had Mike on a hunt and he was scouting another good spot. Mike hammered a tom but hit a little low, and took off most of the beard. There were other birds in the area so he sat tight, a magpie swooped down and picked off a few feathers, then a stray dog came by and licked it, meanwhile none of the other birds came within range, that bird took a beating though.

Meanwhile Daniel was sitting watching another nearby spot scouting and birds showed up all around him, when the birds left he picked up Mike for lunch.

Good for Mike
