I really hope someone puts a bomb corn dog recipe on this thread, I was salivating thinking of a delicious deep fried corn dog slathered with mustard! :bash:

Place right by us has regular and jalapeņo. When I walk in the store the deli is the first stop.
Our little dog has got chewing off the last hard crust in the middle of the stick down to a science.

Not the prettiest corndog but very tasty. Took a jalapeno cheese dog wrapped it with bacon and deep fried it (to cook the bacon). Then dipped it in batter and deep fried it again. So basically a Jalapeno Cheese Bacon double fried corndog. :drool:

Mix 1 cup yellow corn meal (med or fine grain)
1 cup flour
2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda

Then mix in 1 1/2 cup butter milk

Let rest 10 min

Place batter in tall glass
Dip 8 hotdogs

Fry at 375 for 4 min
Be Better than Cream of Mushroom Soup

Amazon, Walmart and I think I've seen them at the Costco Business Center. But the Costco one's you would need to get thousands of them.
