Very cool!
Only 2 defining forces sacrificed themselves for you:
The American Soldier and Jesus Christ. One died for your freedom, the other for your soul.

My rock,
He trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle.

That's spectacular.

The camera picks up way more color than what the eye does.   You could see them well this time though.  ITs been a long time

It was Lady A.   Steve showed up too. LOL

I got a new shutter release remote for my camera and was getting it ready.  THe big storm was supposed to be last night.   I happened to look at the numbers and they were though the roof.    I jumped outside and looked and could see them.   I ran through the house shutting off all the lights and gathered clothes as I went.

So Steve
Is this cloud like ribbon.   Aurora chasers named the phenomenon as a joke back in 2016.   NASA playing along came up with an Acronym for it that matched.  I am mad at myself.  I was showing my wife the lights for her first time and she pointed out this ribbon like cloud. I acknowledged that it looked different but basically passed it off as just another cool looking cloud.   Some folks got some incredible shots of it as well.

I'm not a video guy but I did my first time lapse with my photos.  It went from about 830 to 0130 in the morning.  My camera battery died.   The peak was about 1100 to 1130 with a KP of 8.

Thanks Sky!

This is what it looked like at 0830 when I got my camera hooked up.  I took a pic of my viewfinder with my iPad to text my kids to go outside to look up.
