So far a rifle bull tag for Observatory for my hunting partner and a Manastash cow tag too (he will be returning the cow tag). My daughter drew a Manastash cow tag also.  I drew the late Blue Mt foothill rifle whitetail rut tag.  Looks like i will have to move around my Montana deer hunt to fit this all in.

You'll have to let me know how your whitetail hunt goes! I should have enough to draw that next year but have never hunted the blues.

Curious what you think enough points are? I've put in for the last 10 years and haven't drawn it. Drew it in 2012 and it was good but things have changed quite a bit over there.

Hmmm maybe i'm mistaken. I thought 10 points was the lucky number to have but apparently not...this is washington i guess  :dunno:

Quality tags in WA should be considered OIL any more for most hunt codes!  Way too many applicants for way too few tags.

Congrats on drawing that tag, I used to make 2-3 trips a years delivering propane up to Windy Ridge and always brought the bino's with me, there weren't many trips that I didn't spot elk. That being said, I would have to be about 20 years younger to put in for that tag, that's some rugged country.

Got selected for rifle Quality Elk in the Packwood unit. Yippee  :)

nice!!!! One of the hunts I've always admired but never have tried to draw due to east side tags
I get it I just turned 60 and figured if I was going to get drawn for a quality tag I was going to have to try for some other hunts. Plus I have hunted that area quite a bit and know it well. Have seen some great Bulls in there.

Yes, hoping archery elk hunting pressure will push them into the USC for me. It is and can be a brute of a hike out of the bottom of the creek. One step up and two steps back in that pumice. But the prize is well worth it.
