I can't complain too much. My bear made P&Y (18 1/16"). In fact, I was told to have a second measurer score it. He is about 7' and was over 400 lbs.

Pretty tough to screw up measuring a bear skull....front to back and side to side, not alot to confuse.

I agree and even if the score were off, it wouldn't be by much.

That's what I thought, but I've had 2 people score it and there's a difference of 2.5".

To be 2.5 inches off, I'd say that someone measured it with meat still on the skull, and someone measured it with meat off the skull.
