308 PMC Bronze 150gr?
« on: April 07, 2023, 09:12:32 AM »
Anybody use these soft point rounds for hunting deer?  Looking for a decent, cheap, small deer hunting/practice round to harvest brass from.

Never loaded PMC 308, haven't had an issue loading 9mm, 45ACP and .223. Another less expensive ammo that loads well is PPU.

If you want an inexpensive .308 round for source of brass that is also hunting capable I would recommend Federal Power-Shok 150 grain.  I spend all kinds of time and money reloading and have killed my last 2 big game animals with plain old blue box Federal.
