This is a 2 location launch. Long handled nets, sticks with magnets, gloves, waders, and if you want to bring a boat or Kayak come to this event. This is a great opportunity to explore a public hunting spot and do some good cleanup of our hunting areas.
Our Mission

Preserve, protect, and promote waterfowl, waterfowl habitat, and waterfowl hunting; particularly in the state of Washington

To that end, we teach folks about waterfowl, waterfowl conservation, sportsmanship, shooting, hunter safety, and waterfowling. We also study, advise, recommend, and secure enactment of legislation in the interest of waterfowl, their habitat, and waterfowl hunting.

This is the location of the Ebey Waterfront Park and boat launch. If you want to bring your Kayak or such contact Tom so that we can ferry/ town your ride to the location.

We had a pretty good turn out. Hunters new to the area came out and picked up trash via boats. We picked up a lot of flotsam and trash. Plenty of glass bottle buoys   Styrofoam shoes bottles and such. Notable finds were 2 inflatable boats, a rather nice paddle(which was saved from the landfill) and   a fishing survival suit. Many 5 gallon plastic and and one plastic 55 gallon drum. Just the haul from the boats nearly filled up the trailer, and the garbage from kayakers and those on foot were tossed on top. These pictures are from the boat crew. We had 4 boat but one had engine trouble so had to turn back. Expeditions like this exploring a new area is great to do as a group with backup in case of trouble. — in Smith Island (Washington).

Sounds disturbing! Anyways keep up the good work but my millennial former hunting partner would say you sound too negative on here and would make the decision stop hunting with you if he was your friend.  Today's newer generation hates facts.
Don't read my post if facts hurt your feeling.
