Called them in separately from private to public 30 minutes apart. One died in a mud puddle what a mess.

Only took me an unbelievable number of attempts but I finally got one! 9” beard and 22lbs! 1” spurs! Not huge but I’m proud!

Only took me an unbelievable number of attempts but I finally got one! 9” beard and 22lbs! 1” spurs! Not huge but I’m proud!

Harper kept her cool and made a great shot this afternoon when a group of turkeys snuck in behind us. They announced their presence with a gobble from ten yards behind us we about jumped out of our boots! They moved off about 20 yards behind some brush but a purr and a few yelps had them strutting and circling around into the open. Harper passed on a few marginal shots and the waiting paid off when this bird presented her with a good 25yard shot  :tup:
