Went last night to put in my second bait, but thwarted by the snow.

Sounds like you need to get the wife some snow shoes.

I told her she could make 4 round trips, but for some reason she wasn't having it!  :)

They do tend to get an attitude after a few years.

I wish, but it's on private property and he already has a hound guy he lets hunt it.  :(

Good that you got some private to run baits! I probably need to do that eventually. Hope you have a great season

Well that sucked, went in to my favorite spot to bait yesterday and someone is already baiting there.  Heck they put their bear baiting tag on my ladderstand and screwed their trail camera onto my trail camera mount.

So was able to make contact with the guy who put his bear baiting tag on my treestand.  Super nice guy who got some misinformation.  He was told by a buddy that the site had been abandoned a few years ago.  He's working on getting his 15 year old Son a bear.  I told him the site was his and I'd be happy to help him keep the bait full since I live pretty close by.  Once his boy kills a bear then he and I can coordinate on who hunts the bait site on any given night.  I'm meeting him up there today to top up the bait and put a cellular trail camera out.  Should be fun!!
