Have you looked at any military surplus tents?  They work awesome.
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

They work alright if you want to use a lantern during daylight hours. We used to use them all the time for deer season, but if you get decent wall tent with the aluminum frame it makes setting up really nice and if you happen to be inside during the day for some reason you don't need artificial light.

Check out a NW original.  Canvas Cabins.  Top Quality, made in Oregon by a great guy.  I don't own one but have used them on several hunts, including spring bear in AK where it rained a lot.

That I would not know about, since we only used ours for elk season, and we left before daylight and would not get back till well after dark unless we got meat down, and got back early.  Then we would be so pumped up, there was no going in the tent to relax or whatever.  We had windows in our military tents, never used them either.

Definetly go with a bravo wall tent.  Easy to put up and will last you a life time. Marine grade canvas and heavy duty brass zippers.  Just as good as the tent is a good stove.   :twocents:

Hey backwoods_boy

Did you check out Davis Tents?

They have a June special on tents....  I just bought one from them.  Very easy to deal with and a high quality tent....  More affordable than other places I looked...

yeah we are going to look into them more.
we both really want to get a nice one but might wait till next year and even though i would much rather be in a wall tent my dad would be hard to drag from his home away from home.

my brother and i are going to get a smaller one for now then look into a big wall tent for future hunting seasons.

We have a small Bravo tent. We have the big army tents but needed a small tent for 2-4 guys. He can biuld anything you want. I can set up this tent my self or with my wife for the weekend. I can't remember the exact size but it is about 14'x16' I think. I wouldn't want one smaller unless I was going to pack it in.

They had smaller tents. You won't find a better tent and the prices are good. It will last you a life time if you take care of it.
