Wyoming Moose, Goat, Sheep & Bison Results
« on: May 04, 2023, 01:09:47 PM »
I rolled out of bed this morning and checked my Wyoming results for moose, goat and sheep, (already drew bison) and was more than surprised to see a successful next to goat for unit 2! I know what goat hunting in Goat Rocks did to me 23 years ago, I hope my body has another goat hunt left in it. I beat the 1 in 686 odds to draw the tag, now I just have to beat the odds that my back & knees can hold up to the abuse at 57 :-)

Nice pull!! I missed the deadline for a goat app this year so I'd like to think I contributed to your draw in some miniscule way  :chuckle: hope you have a great hunt!

With 21 pts there was no moose tag for me.  Only 2 tags went to non-residents in the 21 group. There are 404 of us in the 21 pt. group and 444 in 22  pts+
With so few tags it may be time for a 72 year old to back out of the game. Feel good about the elk draw in June

Looks like a guy could have drawn a type 4 moose tag with 21 points.

Miss those feb elk results time frame!

Me too, but it’s hard to set reasonable tag allocations before they know what the winter kill is like.
