Jay's Gift To Me! My New EPC9
« on: May 04, 2023, 07:59:10 PM »
Hadn't planned on building one so soon but having one in the future  was on my mind when they were set to ban mags over 10 rounds so I picked up a couple G17 mags to stick into the safe for a rainy day. Well I started buying parts while I still could and this is what I came up with.

Aero Precision EPC9 upper with 7.3 handguard
Aero EPC Lower
Aero BCG
Rainier Arms PW9 7.25 barrel
CMT  Zcomp Linear Comp
Radian Raptor charging handle
Strike Industries Link foregrip
StreamLight Protac rail mount 1 light
Arisaka 45 offset light mount
Bad as s Ambi safety
Holosun HE510C-GR sight
MBUS3 buis
Magpul MOE K2 plus grip

In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

Let's just say Jay spent my money far and wide. I built 3 more ARs besides this one. One for each of my sons to have when they are old enough and one for me. 😁

Nice looking "Pistol"!
Did you build it or purchase the upper?
I am curious how it shoots

It was all pieces. It shoots awesome. After reading about some feeding issues I did add another item during my build not listed above . I bought a Macon Armory mag release that had a thicker catch that holds the magazine higher in the mag well. So far its cycled every round with no issues. It's a blast to shoot and less than half as much for ammo as 556.

Very nice, i have also heard a ton of 9mm ARs with cycling issues.
Great to see a build  that works as proficiently as it should

Now I want one  :chuckle:

great looking gun!  I'm surprised how well my pistol AR shoots, hits clay pigeons at 100 yards easily.
