Nice! But take them out of that bag. It will ruin them.
Hah, I needed something to get em to the truck in. They're safe now

Excellent! I was out yesterday afternoon off 410 on the east side and found a handful of them. The recent rains drenched and saturated the soil and the ones I found definitely appeared to be the start of what is to come. In the areas that are really wet right now, the bloom is just starting and in two weeks should be in full swing. Last year, the peak for at higher elevations was actually the first weekend in June.

Did the puppies get their share? They looked pretty focused on your plate :chuckle:

Nothing doing in the burns near Lake Wenatchee this weekend.  They have NF-65 blocked off right at the start of the burn but I headed up the ridge to about 2800 ft until I ran into some snow patches...I also did little trips down into different aspects, but didn't find anything.  The Minnow ridge fire has roads blocked off and the long approach via ORV trail along Chiwawa river road is still mostly snow covered so didn't make it in there.  Probably best to wait a few weeks!

Found some this weekend, couple miles of hiking until I found the right elevation then I found some good patches. First time finding them and eating them. Wow are they good, now I know what all the hype is about.

Dam that looks tasty! I'm hoping to get out and check my spots next weekend. I plan to make the same meal if I find any

Took the kids on a morel death march for a mother's day gift. We only found three total around 3000 feet. I had to do a lot of apologizing.
