Q: winter deer on private lands in ferndale
« on: May 10, 2023, 12:22:20 PM »
HOWDY! long time reader, not a lot of posts.
Just wondering what Ferndale has in the way of private land access. I understand a number of orchards and farms out there are visited by deer which can be pretty easily taken with the right planning. This is a thing is it not? I remember viewing the forum a few years back and finding some information regarding this ie. Requesting land access, where to hunt, etc.
If I'm mistaken be sure to let me know. Fortunately we all have summer to look forward to.

My guess would be to see who owns the orchards of places you want to hunt and then go down and talk to someone to find the owner.
